Temple Mount Activists to Watch

I’ve had the privilege of visiting Israel three times over the last 10 years. The first trip was to explore the Holy Land and to see the land where Jesus walked and did His ministry. Subsequent trips were ministry oriented, either to meet with individuals about the Temple Mount, to pray, or most recently to shoot a video series.

My most recent trip was a memorable one because it was with my father. But also, I was able to meet a Temple Mount activist that encouraged me. His name is Doron Keidar.

During these trips I’ve had the privilege of praying on the Temple Mount for the full restoration of Israel to the Promised Land, which includes the restoration of the Temple Mount. I have also been able to meet, in varying capacities, men and women who are actively praying and interceding as Jewish people to God for the rebuilding of the Temple.

Here are the Top 3 people I would recommend watching as we turn our eyes to Israel for next stage, biblical fulfillment.

Doron Keidar, Cry for Zion - Matt Cote Author

Doron Keidar

I met Doron on my most recent trip to Israel in 2023. His team provided security detail for us and we quickly found out that he is a Temple Mount expert and activist. His organization, Cry for Zion, “is a movement of Jews and Christians that supports the Jewish people’s rights to sovereignty over Zion—the Temple Mount—guaranteeing Jewish rights and freedoms on their most holy place. We seek to accomplish our goal in two main ways: education and support”. He accomplishes this work alongside John Enarson, who handles Christian relations and creative direction.

Info About Doron:

Doron Keidar travels the world, speaking about Israel and strengthening support for Israel by giving accurate and timely information, delivered from the perspective of someone who put it all on the line to defend the Jewish state. Fluent in both English and Hebrew, Doron speaks with a disarmingly simple, straightforward manner that captivates and engages audiences of all ages.

Doron has served in the Israeli Defence Forces in a combat unit since 2003 and serves in the IDF reserves since 2006. Doron has worked in the security sector for over 10 years. He has also worked with the development of new and innovative gear for military, law enforcement and the private security sector, drawing from his hands on experience in the IDF and working with both Israeli and American security professionals.

Today Doron is working with the Cry For Zion initiative, a movement that supports the Jewish people’s rights to sovereignty over Mt Zion—the Temple Mount. Drawing from historic, archaeological and biblical facts, Doron helps his listeners gain a dynamic understanding of the past, present and future of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.

Melissa Jane Kronfeld

Melissa Jane “MJ” Kronfeld

I met Melissa briefly with Doron on the Temple Mount during my most recent trip to Israel in 2023. Though it was a quick interaction, I later learned of her work. She writes for the Times of Israel and is the Founder of Passion For A Purpose, a boutique social impact consultancy with offices in New York and Tel Aviv, High On The Har, a US501c3 non-profit organization and Israeli Amuta, focused on securing equal rights and access to the Temple Mount for people of all faiths. She also works with Cry for Zion.

Info About MJ:

Dr. Melissa Jane Kronfeld is a journalist and former university lecturer focused on foreign policy, national security, Israel and the Diaspora. She has been a featured speaker at conferences around the world, including at the United Nations, the White House and Capitol Hill, and on variety of television, print, radio, podcast and online media outlets. She is the Founder of Passion For A Purpose, High On The Har, and Israeli Amuta.

Yehudah Glick - Matt Cote Author - End Game

Yehudah Glick

I first met with Yehudah Glick when he was an MK in the Knesset, during 2016. He is a well-known and influential leader in Israel and a Temple Mount activist. He was once the Director General of the Temple Institute, the state funded organization working to restore the Levitical priesthood in preparation for the building of the Third Temple. We met at the Herbert Samuel Hotel in Zion Square where I gave him my book, End Game.

Info About Rabbi Glick:

Rabbi Glick’s professional résumé includes: director of a program for immigrants from the former Soviet Union in Alon Shvut (1990-96); various posts in the Ministry of Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption (1996-2005); Director General of the Temple Institute (2005-09); Chairman of the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation (2009); and Director of HaLiba, the Initiative for Jewish Freedom on the Temple Mount.

In October of 2014 Rabbi Glick narrowly survived an assassination attempt by a Muslim terrorist. The attempt on his life stemmed from his public advocacy of human rights, including the right to pray, to all people—Muslims, Jews, Christians, and others—on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount. As a result of Rabbi Glick’s tireless efforts, in April of 2015 he was announced to receive the 2015 Moskowitz “Lion of Zion” award. This honor is conferred on outstanding Israeli men and women who act from a feeling of personal responsibility, vision, and national mission, often while sacrificing their personal welfare and even endangering their personal security.

The Future is Now

The rebuilding of the Temple is prophesied to occur during the Tribulation. I started writing about this in 2014. Here is what we have seen since.

  1. The blood moon tetrad of 2014–2015, which occurred on Jewish holy days and pointed to a major change in Israel, preceded the moving of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem on the 70th Gregorian anniversary of Israel (2018). 2018 was the convergence window mentioned in End Game, the 70th Anniversary of the State of Israel (WWII) and the 100th Anniversary of Mandate Palestine (WWI).
  2. During the blood moon tetrad of 2014-2015, Russia would invade and annex Crimea from Ukraine, known as the 2014 Crimean Crisis. This began the Russo-Ukrainian War, which is still ongoing. Russia would later invade Ukraine on Feb 24, 2022.
  3. In 2017 the nations of Turkey, Russia, and Iran would formally align through the Astana Accords in Astana (Nur-Sultan), Kazakhstan.

I maintain the conviction that this is either the precursor to or beginning phases of the military engagement and events prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39, which initiates the Tribulation. This is why our world is the way it is. We are in the end game. I believe that significant changes are coming to the Temple Mount.

Where we stand, only time will tell, but I believe the prayers being offered today will be answered with biblical fulfillment. The people listed above are at the tip of the spear, people to watch as it relates to future changes on the Temple Mount.
