We’re Not Done Yet – Concept Church – A Year in Review

We’re not done yet.

As I sit here and write and look back on the year I am amazed at what God has done. I want to thank all of those that participated with Concept Church this year and helped with the 11-12-13 Movement.

Some know this but most don’t, almost all of our response on 11-12-13 was driven by organic sharing of the Gospel by people like you. That’s right…. we accomplished this together. But it wasn’t originally planned that way. We had a large budget set aside to spend that day on Facebook but they didn’t use our money. For whatever reason they didn’t run our ads.

What God showed me was that when His people unite around a single cause, the Gospel, we end up doing and accomplishing what we were put on this earth to do. To share the message of Jesus with everyone on the planet.

I am excited about the possibilities the internet brings to the movement of the Gospel. The Gospel was meant for the internet and vice versa.

We are not done yet.

As we spend this season celebrating the birth of our Savior I am reminded of Emmanuel, God with us. The internet is just one way to reach people but these people still need physical help, a listening ear, prayer and a church home. That is our end goal. Not only to reach the world with the Gospel but to help build up the local church by sending people there.

People have asked me why we kept “Church” in our name. That is a great question.

The purpose behind the original name and concept was this: Jesus following started as a movement and will always be a movement until the Great Commission is complete. Movement is the concept. Even as a local church we were heavily engaged in social media, this when social media was relatively new. Like a concept car, we want to incorporate the latest technology into our methodology.

Although now online the purpose is still the same. Get the Gospel to people, reach them where they are at, as they are, and build up the Church.

11-12-13 showed us this is not an effort of one person, but a movement of passionate Christ followers coming together and saying “Now is the time, we will stand up and speak together.”

Here are some interesting facts about Concept Church and our online outreach:

>>  29,385 Website Visitors

>>  8,500 Gospel Video Plays (Over 25% of all website visitors watch the Gospel video.)

>>  1,966 Placed their Faith in Christ (Conversion Rate of over 23%.)

>>  347 Being Initially Discipled via Email (Roughly 20% of those that receive Christ are being initially discipled online right now.)

Top 7 Countries Include:

  1. United States
  2. United Kingdom
  3. India
  4. Philippines
  5. Pakistan
  6. Iraq
  7. China

All of this taking place in the 4th Quarter of 2013. We are working on partnerships to help plug these people into a local church in their area. This will be our main focus in 2014.

We have many goals for next year and are working towards them. This will all culminate on 12-13-14 when we take to social media again in order to move the Gospel throughout the world. My prayer is that you, your family, your ministry and your business will flourish in 2014. All this for the glory of God and our good.

God is with us, Emmanuel.

Have a blessed Christmas and New Year.
